Meet the doctors and staff at Antelope Dental Associates

William J. Black, DDS

Meet William J. Black, DDSWilliam Black earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from the University of California, Davis in 1988. He then went on to the UCLA School of Dentistry where he graduated in 1992.

Following dental school, Dr. Black served in the U.S. Navy for 3 years as a dentist. He then settled in the Sacramento area where he opened his practice in 1996. Dr. Black is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA), Sacramento District Dental Society (SDDS), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), and the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD). He is currently pursuing Mastership with the Academy of General Dentistry and accreditation with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Dr. Black has 8 children, works actively with the Boy Scouts of America, and enjoys gardening.

Kelly J. Wilson, DDS

Kelly J. Wilson, DDSDr. Kelly Wilson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from CSUS in 1999. He graduated from the University of Pacific Dental School in 2002. Dr.Wilson is a proud member of the ADA, CDA, and SDDS.

In his spare time, Dr. Wilson enjoys golfing, hiking, and spending time with his wife and 4 children.

Edie Buckman, Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)

Edie Buckman, RDHEdie Buckman completed her dental hygiene program at Sacramento City College in 1985. She is a member of ADHA.

Edie has a passion for animals and is involved in cat rescue. She enjoys nature, hiking, and photography.

Pam Phelps, Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)

Pam Phelps, RDHPam Phelps graduated from the registered dental assistant program at Sacramento City College in 1980. She later returned to school graduating from the registered dental hygiene program also at Sacramento City College in 1985. She is a member of the ADHA.

Pam enjoys travel, gardening, and entertaining. Pam is a volunteer with the C.A.S.A. (Court Appointed Special Advocate) program in Sacramento helping local foster care youth.
